EXPERIENCED SALES & MARKETING TEAM AT TILLOTTS
Tillotts’ Sales and Marketing team comprises thirteen persons at this moment and is responsible for dealing with all commercial aspects of our network of distributors and direct sales operations, namely, screening medical literature and preparing digests; hosting scientific events, and attending key gastro meetings and congresses; maintaining a close liaison with the “top 20” distribution partners who are each visited yearly, some several times; carrying out promotional activities of all kinds; training of the distributors’ sales and marketing personnel as needed; organizing best practice sharing e. g. at annual meetings for distributors.
GROWTH STRATEGY
For more than a decade now Tillotts has enjoyed strong organic growth, achieving critical mass. By the 3rd quarter of 2009, more than two-thirds of the company’s sales were generated in European territories. From the period 2001 to 2008 Tillotts’ Asacol® sales have grown at a 12% compound annual growth rate out performing the growth of the entire IBD class.
The growth of the company’s sales are projected to further accelerate over the years to come due to following key strategic programs:
