For our IT team at our HQ in Rheinfelden, we are looking for an

IT Application Manager

In this key role as the IT Application Manager you will function as a trusted business partner, helping internal stakeholders by ensuring a smooth application landscape and implementing business requirements into integrated IT system solutions.

Your Tasks

  • Ensure correct functioning, availability and performance of business applications with special focus on the ERP system, including Incident and Problem Management
  • Provide administrative support across applications as needed
  • Collaboration with internal departments (e.g. Supply Chain, Finance, Production, Logistics, Quality Assurance, etc.) and translation of business requirements into IT processes
  • Application Ownership for corporate business applications
  • Implementation of new processes, new modules, release updates including adequate and well-structured documentation and communication
  • Participation on initiatives which are sponsored by other business areas, including IT, that impact the application landscape and may require IT expertise
  • 2nd level support of business applications and key users
  • Coordination of 3rd level support with service providers
  • Support sustainable implementation of functional and non-functional requirements including maintaining the validated status of GxP relevant systems
  • Application training management and coordination

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or life sciences (equivalent working experience also acceptable)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in IT Application Management in a GxP regulated industry
  • Knowledge of business process in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
  • Excellent English (min. C1) and good German (min. B1) skills are required
  • Motivated team player with strong analytical skills, solution-oriented mindset and hands-on attitude
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are a must
  • Customer-focused and pro-active working style
  • Structured, focused and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestions
  • Agile, highly motivated and dynamic drive to navigate in a fast-paced working environment
