Tillotts Pharma AG is One of the Best Employers in Switzerland
RHEINFELDEN, Switzerland, 13 May 2020 – Tillotts Pharma AG (Tillotts), a fast-growing specialty pharma company based in Rheinfelden (AG), Switzerland, has been named one of the best employers in Switzerland by Great Place to Work® (GPTW) on 13 May 2020.
After Tillotts was awarded the GPTW label in November 2019, the company entered the nationwide contest to find the top employers in Switzerland. Tillotts placed 16th in the category "Companies with 50 to 249 employees." The award is given to companies in all industries and of all sizes that, from their employees' point of view, have a particularly trustworthy, appreciative and attractive workplace culture.
The GPTW label is awarded based on an anonymous survey of employees and an analysis of the corporate culture. Key elements, such as trust, pride, fairness, team spirit, professional development, remuneration, health promotion, work-life balance and leadership quality are examined by GPTW in an independent audit.
"Every year, we award a large number of organisations as a Great Place to Work® or Great Start! - but this does not mean that it is easy to receive the label! Every company must meet the same minimum criteria, both in the employee survey and the culture audit. In many cases, organisations that contact us already invest heavily in their workplace culture - and our label confirms the success of their efforts,” says Leah Martorelli, Consultant, Great Place to Work®.
Tillotts received high ratings in areas such as fairness, respect and camaraderie. Overall, 86% of Tillotts’ global employees agreed with the statement that, "Taking everything into account, I would say that this is a great place to work."
Gabriella Schraner, Head of HR at Tillotts states: “The opinion and well-being of our employees matters, and we are truly honoured to have reached the top 20. The goal of the survey was to get an honest and detailed understanding of which areas we can still improve and which areas we meet or even exceed the expectations of our employees. Right after we received the detailed results of the GPTW survey, we initiated various steps in order to advance on the areas where our employees still see room for improvement.”
